Meet The Doctor

Dr. Khoi Nguyen

I come from a family of many healthcare providers who have had a major impact on who I am; from doctors, to pharmacists, and dentists. It may sound cliche but I have always known that I would be a dentist ever since I was little. However, I never understood the importance of what I do or how rewarding it can be until I had the opportunity to help Mrs. D.B., my first edentulous patient.

Mrs. D.B. had lost all her teeth a long time before coming to see me. As such, her treatment was complicated and lasted several weeks from the planning phase to delivery. I remember on the day her treatment was completed I was so shocked to see Mrs. D.B. crying tears of joy in my chair over what she had regained. It was then that I realized the true impact of my profession. Good oral hygiene and oral health is so crucial in many aspects of our everyday life that we take for granted; from being able to eat your favorite food and getting the nutrition that you need, to being able to speak and smile with confidence.

I keep the pictures of Mrs. D.L. with me after all these years as a reminder of why I love my profession and of my commitment to helping my patients obtain and maintain their optimal oral health.

I hope that you will give us the opportunity to help you today! A healthy smile is reflective of good oral hygiene and a healthy way of life. That is why we say at Orchid Dental Care, “Our Passion is Your Smile!”
